Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day, also the last day of my 10 days holidays! Oh my god, Can't believe I am returning back to work tomorrow. The thought of waking up at 7 kills me. That's life, you need to work to achieve your goals and most importantly, provide for your kids.

This 10 days was really well spent with the kids, family and also, removing this irritating eye bags of mine for the past 34 years. Will share more on the journey soon.

Today is Valentine's Day. It used to be an important day for me. It is the day when I need to feel important and how loved I am. But when times goes by, I have realised that being and staying together as a family is more important than anything or, maybe this year it coincides with CNY. Spending the whole 10 days together was enough to make me feel so loved and happy.

I love my two precious and also, my dearest hubs who have been with me thru lots. A 11 years marriage is not as simple as many would think. It needs patient, understanding and communication.

Lill Denicia is growing up so fast, cant seems to keep tracks on all her milestones.

Chinese New Year Day 2

Mum is always the greatest role in the universe. She is the one who takes care of all your needs and wants.

I am so blessed to have her, cant imagine life without her.

Day 2 is always a dressed down day, slacking at mum's house. This year, so blessed to have the whole family together.
Its quite unusual for all to gather.

Chinese New Year Day 1

Family portrait is an essential every CNY. You get to meet people whom you might not meet in years, having the chance to catch up, giving your concerns and hugs. I must say, I am one of the guilty ones who often forget to spend time with Ah ma and the rest of the aunties.

This year, I hope my family will have good health, prosperity and blessed with love

My CNY is usually quite routine, packed only on Day 1

First trip for 2016. It was a all girls trip!

Geraldine even prepared us an itinerary just to make sure that we are in time to all the places we wanted to visit. The girls were there 1 day before me.

Happy that I get to fly on our very own; Singapore Airlines after so many years finally. Well I must say its all worth the money for being able to sit comfortably with a TV console all by yourself. Most importantly, food quality is excellent. The terminals that SQ lands is always so near to the immigrations. I remember being on budget airlines a couple of time and I have to walk miles before the immigrations. I am not pampered but just thought that holiday trips are supposed to be brainless, hassle-free and pampered right?

Journey from the airport to the hotel was terrible. A one and a half hour journey with traffic jams, the usual for BKK. But all was well seeing the ladies at the Hotel upon my arrival!

This time, I did not stay in my very own fav - Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok. Instead the girls booked the hot fav by the Singaporeans - Glow Pratunam located in the heart of Bangkok. Not too bad. Decent and convenient place.

Weather for the 1st day was dry and hot so we decided to put on our hydration masks ha but the weather for the next few days was a nightmare!

We were hit by a sudden change of weather from 40 to 16 degrees after a heavy rain the next day. It was really unusual for Bangkok. Weather was really chilling with constant wind every other minute sending us hiding in the malls.BUT that doesn't stopped us from shopping.

#Seafu, nested in one of the streets in Geylang. You wouldn't believe that's such good food there

Seafu, is a homegrown seafood place and concept was simple. Put all your fav crabs, lobster, mussels together and serve. To my surprise, comparing to other seafood chains in the market they are much more affordable and equally tasty. Well, the location is more for a casual dinner dates rather than the posh ones which you have to at least put on your jeans.

Very honoured to be invited to a Fashion Runway Event by Ms Sinah Chuang, owner of Riccino Shoes

Seriously, the pair of heels I have, which was custom-made by Riccino is so so comfy. You wouldn't imagine standing effortless on a 5 inch shoe for hours not feeling tired.

Had a great time catching up with the ladies too! It has since been a month we have catch up. Thinking back, really miss all the times we spent together.
